Today, as CEO of Belwest, the accredited Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce for thirteen western U.S. states, Alain strengthens economic ties between Europe and the United States. He leads the development of business communities, animates sector-based Special Interest Groups, and connects entrepreneurs, executives, and innovators across borders. His work focuses on facilitating U.S. market entry and expansion for European companies, fostering strategic partnerships, and linking key innovation ecosystems across both continents.

He is a licensed commercial multi-instrument pilot with additional experience flying seaplanes and helicopters.
